1. Bio-metric Data Entry Operator

In IT and ITES Sector, this program trains candidates for the job of “biometric system management, hardware management, routing and switching, network management”, which includes monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults, and troubleshooting biometric system and network problems etc.

Job Role: It is a technical job, the person is responsible for the efficient running of the biometric data mechanism and to provide electronic data entry of daily work reports from clients on daily hour basis, depending on size and structure of the organisation.

Eligibility: 10th standard
Duration of the program: 3 months (135 hours)


2. Data Entry Operator

In IT and ITES Sector, this program trains candidates for the job of “domestic data entry operating system management”, job includes working on a personal computer, and using appropriate software to enter accurate data regarding different issues, for example- retrieving data from a computer or to a computer.
The person should have fast typing and accurate data encoding skills.

Job Role: The person in job is responsible to provide electronic data entry of daily work reports from clients on daily hour basis, depending on size and structure of the organisation.

Eligibility: 10th standard
Duration of the program: 3 months (135 hours)

• Compare transcribed data, as displayed on a visual screen, with the source document and corrects any errors

• Determines the cause of error message while entering data and makes appropriate corrections
• Perform biometrics processing to include prints, electronic photographs, electronic signatures, and press print
• Ensure all biometric documentation is complete and in the appropriate order
• Maintains files of source documents or other information relative to data entered;
• Performs various related functions to ensure that the computer is maintained in a neat and orderly manner
• May perform various back-up or relief clerical duties as needed (i.e., switchboard, receptionist, fingerprinting, etc)
