An IT Engineer may write software, create applications for mobile devices, develop program software and websites. They are continuously in search of innovative ideas to make computers do new things or accomplish tasks more efficiently.
In the course, the students learn to use systems to store, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data, it mainly focuses on the data management and devices used in the process. The students get an exposure to various aspects of computer hardware, software and practical handling of computers. Some important topics covered in this program are- software, hardware, networking, database management and data processing.
An IT engineer can find career opportunities in fields like information systems, operation and management, programming and software development, telecommunications and networking, graphics and multimedia, computer science research, computer industry specialists, training and support, and web and Internet.

- Students are required to fill a Joint entry exam form online, conducted by Lucknow University. After result and merit by University, selected students are to choose RMIET in the selection.
